- Compression
- TGA: Lossless → PDF: Depends on variant TGA: TGA can be uncompressed or losslessly RLE-compressed. Attribute bits and version-2 alpha semantics matter; the fourth byte must not automatically be treated as opacity. PDF: PDF has no single compression quality. Different streams may use lossless or lossy filters; page rasterization can remove document structure even when the resulting pixels are encoded losslessly.
