Any2Any.Pics native HEVC container component, libheif 1.23.6 Upstream commit: f81f28ac014b1c28dee483ac45b72c6b05bc421a https://github.com/strukturag/libheif/tree/f81f28ac014b1c28dee483ac45b72c6b05bc421a The site distributes libheif container parsing/muxing, not an HEVC decoder or encoder. All compression/decompression occurs through the user's platform WebCodecs VideoDecoder/VideoEncoder. All libheif codec plugins, including its WebCodecs plugin, are disabled. No libde265, x265, kvazaar or HEVC implementation is linked or provided as fallback. Unused upstream plugin wrappers in the full source archive do not include those external codec libraries. libheif library: LGPL v3 or later (see source headers and COPYING, which includes the GPL v3 text incorporated by LGPL v3). Application bridge: MIT. Emscripten runtime: MIT / Illinois NCSA; musl: MIT; LLVM compiler-rt, libc++, libc++abi: Apache 2.0 with LLVM exceptions. Their complete notices are served at /umce/licenses/ and /umce/THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt. Corresponding library source: libheif-1.23.6-source.tar.gz (unmodified). Application source: container.cc and the publicly available repository https://github.com/mcharvat/Any2Any.Pics/tree/main/src/lib/umce/heif Relinkable application object: relink/container.o Original static library: relink/libheif.a Build recipe: build-heif.sh; Emscripten 6.0.11, CMake 4.4.4, C++20. To rebuild, extract the archive and initialize a Git checkout at the stated commit (or adapt the recipe's verification after making library modifications). Activate Emscripten 6.0.11, then from the Any2Any.Pics repository run: bash scripts/build-heif.sh /path/to/libheif /path/to/container-build To replace only the LGPL library, rebuild libheif.a with identical codec-off CMake flags and relink using relink/container.o and the em++ command at the end of build-heif.sh. Replace src/lib/umce/heif/generated/container.mjs and container.wasm, then run npm ci and npm run build. The object is provided without LTO, so replacing the library does not require recompiling the application. You may modify/replace this LGPL library and reverse engineer the combined component for debugging those modifications. No site term restricts these rights. Installation is an ordinary editable local web build; there is no signature or remote attestation preventing replacement.
